Explosion in Kabul

On October 20, a powerful explosion was reported in Kabul. According to TASS, the Afghan Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the incident.

The explosion occurred in the Dehmazang area, in front of the checkpoint building of the border police. An unidentified individual threw a grenade at a passing vehicle belonging to militants from the Taliban, the extremist group that has seized power in the country.

Kari Said Hostin, the press secretary appointed by the Taliban at the Afghan Ministry of Internal Affairs, confirmed the incident and reported that two militants of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (the name used by the radicals for the state) were wounded in the attack.
