Georgian Parliamentary Delegation Travels to Turkey
The Georgian parliamentary delegation, led by the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, will make an official visit to Ankara on October 18-19. According to Aliq Media, this was reported by the press service of the Georgian Parliament.
During the visit, the annual trilateral meeting of the chairmen of the Georgian, Azerbaijani, and Turkish foreign relations committees will take place, where the agenda of trilateral cooperation will be discussed, as well as challenges and opportunities in the Black Sea region.
Meetings will also be held with the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, focusing on strengthening Georgian-Turkish strategic partnership and bilateral relations.
The statement released by the legislator indicates that this is the ninth meeting in this format, serving as an important platform at the legislative level for the three countries, where the parties will have the opportunity to discuss ongoing developments in the region, future steps, and important decisions regarding trilateral strategic partnership.
