Azerbaijanis Release Iranian Drivers Arrested on Goris-Kapan Road

Iranian cargo drivers who were arrested by Azerbaijani armed forces or other law enforcement bodies in a problematic section of the Goris-Kapan interstate road have been released from a detention facility in Nakhchivan, as reported by Radar Armenia.

It is noteworthy that the Azerbaijanis had detained two Iranian drivers in the vicinity of the Vorotan community on the Goris-Kapan highway while they were transporting cement to Stepanakert and Yerevan. The drivers managed to inform via phone that they had been arrested and that Azerbaijanis were preparing to put them on trial, after which communication was severed.
