Garibashvili on Yerevan-Baku-Georgia Relations
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated that his visit to Armenia can be considered highly effective. He also mentioned that Tbilisi will continue to act as a mediator between Yerevan and Baku. He spoke about this during a meeting with reporters in Batumi.
Garibashvili also noted that he was the initiator of starting cooperation in the region and forming a new platform where the three countries would begin close collaboration, with Georgia playing a significant role in this process. “In June, we created a successful precedent for the mediation mission, thanks to my direct efforts as well as the agreements of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, which made it possible to free the prisoners and transfer maps to Azerbaijan,” said the Prime Minister of Georgia.
