Tragic Accident in Tavush: One of the Injured Children Has Died

On August 29, a serious and tragic car accident occurred in the Tavush province. Around 19:20, vehicles of the brands Mercedes and Opel Zafira collided on the 7th kilometer of the Ijevan-Novemberyan road.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, 6 individuals, including 2 children, were transported to the Ijevan Medical Center with the help of the rescuers from the 62nd fire-rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who arrived promptly on the scene.

It has just been revealed that one of the injured children has died. The police and the investigative department are determining the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured.
