Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Nissan Tiida Crashes into Basalt Curbs and Overturns
A major car accident occurred in Yerevan today, August 30. According to Shamshyan.com, at around 01:50, a resident of Yerevan, Hayk Melkumyan, while driving a Nissan Tiida, crashed into basalt curbs near a pedestrian crossing leading from Gay Avenue to Acharian Street and overturned.
Fortunately, there were no injuries resulting from the accident. A duty crew of emergency doctors from Yerevan 1-03 provided first aid to the driver on the spot; however, he refused to go to the hospital, stating that he felt fine. The driver underwent a sobriety test at the scene and was found to be sober.
