Erdogan Sued by 290 Minor Citizens
The Istanbul representative of Turkey's opposition "Republican People's Party," Sezgin Tanrıkulu, has presented statistical data regarding criminal cases initiated against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on charges of "defamation," as reported by Ermenihaber.
According to the opposition lawmaker, 290 of these cases have been launched against minor citizens. Among them, 84 belong to the age group of 12-15 years, while 206 are minors aged 15-18.
The Turkish lawmaker has strongly criticized the country's judicial system for pursuing and targeting minors.
