Italian Singer and TV Host Raffaella Carrà Passes Away
Italian television presenter, singer, and actress Raffaella Carrà has passed away on Monday. According to a report from RIA Novosti, citing Italian sources, the beloved television host died at the age of 78.
Her former partner, choreographer Sergio Japino, revealed that Carrà requested a simple wooden coffin and an urn to hold her ashes. Japino noted that although the actress did not have biological children, she supported 150,000 minors through a remote adoption program.
Carrà gained fame in the 1970s and 1980s, with the song "A far l'amore comincia tu" bringing her significant recognition.
