New Batch of Sputnik V Vaccine Imported to Armenia
To stabilize the epidemiological situation of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Republic, the procurement and import of new batches of vaccines continue. Today, a new batch of the Russian Sputnik V (Gam-COVID-Vac) vaccine has been imported to Armenia, consisting of 15,000 doses of the first component for 15,000 individuals, as reported by the Armenian Ministry of Health.
It is reminded that vaccinations against COVID-19 are ongoing throughout the country. Vaccinations are carried out in mobile vaccination units and primary health care organizations every day of the week. In outpatient-clinic organizations, duty hours have been established on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Vaccinations with available AstraZeneca, Coronavax, and Sputnik V vaccines are permitted for individuals aged 18 and over, based on demand and on a voluntary basis. Vaccinations in Armenia are free of charge and conducted on a voluntary basis.
