'Hraparak' reports: 'Former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan issued a statement yesterday announcing his support for Robert Kocharyan's 'Armenia' coalition. Additionally, his close associates are involved in Kocharyan's election campaign. The 23rd candidate on the list is Alexander Khachatryan, an advisor to Prime Minister Karapetyan, who was the director of the strategic initiatives center he established. Lawyer Aram Vardevanyan was Karapetyan's chief assistant. Another advisor of his, Shushan Sardarjan, who has long led the media outlet of Gazprom Armenia, is coordinating the press service of Kocharyan's headquarters. Karapetyan’s protégé Arsen Harutyunyan, the former head of the Water Economy Committee, is also working in favor of the 'Armenia' movement.'
