Photo: Mosque Built in Stepanakert for Russian Peacekeepers' Muslim Soldiers

Arthur Danielyan has posted a photo on his Facebook page of a mosque that has been built near the airport in Stepanakert. The publication previously reported on the construction of the mosque, which was erected for the Muslim soldiers of the Russian peacekeepers. A Russian Orthodox church has also been built.

"A new mosque has been consecrated in Stepanakert (towards Iavanyan). There is nothing extraordinary about it; 20% of the Russian population is already Muslim, and this number is much higher among the youth. In a few years, the majority of the Russian armed forces will be Muslim... Sunni Muslims," wrote Arthur Danielyan.
