Rumors have been circulating on social media and in the press that citizens visited the Civil Contract Party's Avan regional headquarters yesterday and received money to secure votes for the party on June 20. It has been claimed that these individuals were offered 1 million drams for 50 votes, with some amounts exceeding 3 million.
Auroranews reached out to the Civil Contract Party's public relations coordinator and Member of Parliament, Vahagn Aleksanyan. He characterized the circulating news as nonsense and added, "The Civil Contract Party does not distribute money, has not distributed money, and will not distribute money."
