I Will Remain on the Frontlines of Political Struggle: Zohrebyan
Although I have left the Prosperous Armenia Party, I will continue my political activities, and if early parliamentary elections take place, I will remain active in the political field. This was stated by NA deputy Naira Zohrebyan during her appearance on ‘Azatutyun’.
“The mandate does not determine everything. Those people are clinging to their seats who have nothing more important in their lives than a mandate. I will remain on the front lines of the political struggle. I have numerous interesting proposals, and all of them are currently in the discussion phase. I will also actively follow these electoral processes,” she said.
When asked if she had received offers from other parties, Zohrebyan gave an unclear answer: “There are offers, they have been discussed. There have been various meetings, but I believe I won’t participate in this electoral process. I need a certain ‘timeout’. I have been a deputy since 2007... I need time to discuss those proposals... I will remain in politics. I am confident I will return to the parliament because I think I am a good deputy.”
