Explosion at Gas Cylinder Installation Point in Davtashen
On May 22, at 06:13, the Crisis Management National Center received a report of an explosion heard near building 30 in the 3rd district of the Davitashen administrative area of Yerevan.
Two firefighting units from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Department in Yerevan were dispatched to the scene.
It was found that a fire had broken out in one of the garages nearby, which was being used as a gas cylinder installation point for vehicles. The fire was contained by 06:38 and extinguished by 06:45. The garage (24 sq.m) was burned, and two cans of paint (500 ml) exploded.
