Azerbaijanis Use Gravestones for Road Construction Leading to Shushi, Says Davit Babayan
Azerbaijani authorities are using gravestones for road construction, said Davit Babayan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, to Sputnik Armenia. "They are constructing a road from Hadrut to Karin Tak and from there to Shushi. They are building a large road, 40 meters wide," he stated.
According to him, during the construction, Azerbaijanis are demolishing gravestones and using them for the road construction. "This means that an act of vandalism is taking place," Babayan noted.
Currently, Azerbaijani convoys are passing through Red Market, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers.
It is noteworthy that Shushi was temporarily captured by the enemy following the 44-day war in Artsakh.
