Situation Escalates: 'Hraparak'
President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian's decision not to appeal to the Constitutional Court has escalated the situation, prompting the opposition, located on Baghramyan Avenue, to decide to blockade the National Assembly as an anti-national and anti-state institution, preventing lawmakers from entering the parliament to continue their activities.
Within minutes, a large number of police were deployed to Baghramyan Avenue and Demirchyan Street. Ishkhan Saghatelyan noted: 'In our country, with the knowledge and participation of the president, the constitutional order has once again been undermined. If no institution is defending the constitutional order, we are ready to fight and defend it; that is our natural right.'
