Ishkhan Saghatelyan Gives Nikol Pashinyan Until Tomorrow at 12 PM
The coordinator of the Homeland Salvation Movement, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, called on participants of the opposition rally to set up more tents on Demirchyan Street and create conditions to spend the night there.
“In the morning, no parliament member will enter the National Assembly, because they no longer have anything to do. Only the political majority that we want and dictate can enter this building,” he emphasized.
In an interview with reporters, Ishkhan Saghatelyan stated that he is giving Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan until tomorrow at 12 PM to come to the National Assembly and submit his resignation.
“Only in that case will we go to elections,” he said.
Citizens have already been blocking the National Assembly building for several hours, and they are currently gathered on Demirchyan Street. In response to the police officers who formed a barrier, the crowd chants, “Nikol is a traitor.”
