Mediated Dialogue Between Pashinyan and Tsarukyan is Ongoing

Despite the fact that the leader of the Bright Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, has not yet met with Nikol Pashinyan and no discussions have taken place regarding early elections, our information indicates that a mediated dialogue between them is underway.

Tsarukyan is reportedly agreeable to early elections and may soon announce that although he will not sign a memorandum, he promises not to propose a candidate once Pashinyan resigns. It is noteworthy that the ruling party submitted a draft amendment to the Electoral Code to the parliament yesterday, suggesting that the authorities are preparing for elections.

As for the LHK, Edmon Marukyan stated that the party’s council has not yet discussed whether to propose a new candidate following the Prime Minister's resignation or not. It seems that the LHK is waiting for Tsarukyan to take the first step.

Other forces within the Homeland Salvation Movement, although not openly stating, have been discussing internally that if elections are declared, even under Pashinyan's premiership, they will be compelled to participate. The most radical position is taken by the REPUBLIC Party, which has declared that they will respond to questions of participation after Pashinyan’s resignation.
