Why the UNICEF Representative's Tenure in Armenia Was Terminated: A Commentary by the MFA Spokesperson
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Anna Naghdalyan, commented on the government's decision to terminate the tenure of Marnie Clark-Hatting as the UNICEF representative in Armenia in response to a request from ArmPress.
"For the Armenian side, the issues have been the deficiencies in the implementation of Marnie Clark-Hatting's mandate in Armenia and her non-collaborative working style. Therefore, the Armenian government has decided to terminate her tenure as the UNICEF representative in the Republic of Armenia. The UN Resident Coordinator and representatives of UNICEF have been informed of this decision," stated Anna Naghdalyan.
