I Will Not Answer Any Questions, I Will Not Testify: Vazgen Manukyan
I will not answer any questions, I will not testify. This was stated by Vazgen Manukyan during a conversation with journalists, as he was summoned by the Investigative Committee today where charges will be brought against him.
Manukyan noted that he had made statements, and lawyers should comment on them, emphasizing that he would not say anything further. “I have said what I have said. I do not regret my words,” he stated.
The candidate for prime minister from the opposition Armenia Alliance also described the criminal case against him as a genuine political persecution.
Regarding the question of what will happen if he is arrested, Manukyan replied that thousands of people would continue the struggle.
