Yerevan Does Not Refuse Dialogue with Baku, But a Suitable Atmosphere and Agenda Are Necessary: Ara Ayvazyan
Yerevan does not refuse dialogue with Baku, but it is necessary to create a suitable atmosphere and formulate an agenda, Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan stated in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"We never refuse meetings. However, any meeting, if it is not organized only for the purpose of recording its occurrence, must meet certain criteria. First of all, it is about creating the right atmosphere and formulating a specific agenda," Ayvazyan said, answering a question about the possibility of a meeting with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister and whether negotiations are underway to organize a meeting between the leaders of the two countries.
He noted that it is equally important for meetings to take place "with the consent of the other side."
