Araik Harutyunyan Has His Plans: What He Is Doing Behind Nikol Pashinyan's Back
The recent frequent visits of President Araik Harutyunyan to Moscow have a single purpose: to strengthen his own power and separate from Nikol Pashinyan. According to well-informed sources, he realizes that Pashinyan's authority is nearing its end, and he wants to safeguard himself in advance, hoping to 'jump' off the revolutionary leader's ship, just as he did in 2018 when he left the previous camp.
Our sources indicate that Russia has already understood that it can work directly with Artsakh, and a roadmap for the de facto integration of Artsakh with Russia has been developed. This includes providing Russian passports to Artsakh residents, establishing transport communication routes, supply chains, reconstruction, and other related issues.
This is also beneficial for the President of Artsakh, who hopes to become a more reliable partner for Russia than Pashinyan and to extend his term through Russian support. Regarding the news about the dissolution of the Artsakh Defense Army, it is known that it will merely be renamed; it may be called self-defense or border guard forces, but its functions will remain the same.
