Accident Near Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center: Casualties Reported
On February 3, at 15:57, the Crisis Management National Center received a call reporting a traffic accident near the Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center on Gyrdyan Street, Yerevan. There were reports of an injured person trapped in the vehicle. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A team from the Yerevan Rescue Department, consisting of one firefighting unit, as well as a rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center, promptly arrived at the scene.
It was determined that the vehicles involved were an Opel Astra (driver: D. D., born in 1998) and a Ford Transit (driver: G. H., born in 1994). Both drivers managed to exit their vehicles independently and were subsequently hospitalized at the Heratsi Hospital Complex No. 1. After undergoing appropriate tests, they were discharged.
The rescuers disconnected the electricity of the Ford Transit and secured the gas cylinder valve of the Opel Astra.
