37-Year-Old Woman Reports Attempted Rape by Husband and Father-in-Law in Aragatsotn Province

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, materials are being prepared on the grounds of attempted rape at one of the territorial police divisions in the Aragatsotn province. On January 29, a 37-year-old resident of one of the villages in the province contacted the police and reported that the day before, her 48-year-old husband and his 74-year-old father had attempted to rape her in their bedroom while using violence; however, she resisted, and they were unable to engage in sexual intercourse with her.

Upon the arrival of a community police officer from the territorial division at the specified address, the woman reported that she had sustained bodily injuries as a result of her husband and father-in-law's actions. Some time later, the two were located and invited to the police division, where they provided explanations regarding the incident, claiming that they had not attempted to commit rape.
