Arayik Harutyunyan's Artistic Protégé Receives Position in State Oversight Service

Artist David Danielyan has been appointed as the assistant to the head of the State Oversight Service (SOS), where he will coordinate media relations. This information was confirmed in an interview with Factor.am by David Danielyan.

"He also mentioned that he received the job offer from the head of the SOS, Tigran Ulikhanyan. It is noteworthy that David Danielyan previously held the position of assistant to the Minister of Culture. He is a protégé of former Minister of Education, Culture and Sports and chief advisor to the Prime Minister, Arayik Harutyunyan, and the nephew of Narik Babayan, Deputy Governor of Syunik and a member of the ruling party.

In response to Factor.am's question about how much his mentor and cousin played a role in securing him a job in the SOS, David Danielyan assured that they only learned of his appointment afterward. It appears that the State Oversight Service is not indifferent to ensuring their protégé's employment.

The media outlet reported in 2019 that the then acting head of the SOS, Argishti Kyaramyan, placed his protégé Arthur Nahapetyan in a position within the organization as the deputy head of a department. However, the latter moved to the National Security Service with Kyaramyan.
