Today is the Heaviest Celebration for Us Since Independence: Artak Beglaryan
Artak Beglaryan, the head of the Artsakh President's staff, wrote on his Facebook page: "Today is the heaviest celebration for us since independence, yet still, Happy Army and Homeland Defender's Day!
Our losses and pain are immeasurable, just as our debts and real obligations are infinite. Yes, since the moment of its establishment, significant work has been done towards the establishment of Armenian statehood and the army, yet the mistakes and omissions have been of decisive proportions, which have also led to this situation.
If we genuinely wish to correct these mistakes and move toward strengthening our statehood, then pathos and divisions will not help; instead, we need intelligent, diligent, and long-term work based on constant self-reflection, proper assessment of environmental risks, and a sharp increase in the effectiveness of management systems. If we succeed in this matter, we will earn the benevolent disposition of history; if not, we will surely find numerous reasons to complain about the fate of the Armenian people.
Congratulations and thank you to everyone who has even a small contribution to the defense of the Homeland and the establishment of the Armenian Army, and we have no right to forget, even for a moment, about our significant moral debts toward the fallen soldiers. ”
