45-year-old man reports that his wife's father and brothers, as well as a hospital surgeon, attacked him

The investigation department of the Ararat division of the police is preparing materials regarding an incident that took place on January 24 in the Ararat region. On that day, around 05:20, 45-year-old Sasun G. from the city of Vedi called the police and reported that his wife's father and brothers had beaten him, and that he was currently in the yard of the 'Vedi' hospital, where he was also attacked by a hospital surgeon.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, officers from the Ararat police department, led by the head of the criminal investigation department, went to the indicated address, where Sasun G. stated that he had visited the hospital for medical assistance, but no help was provided. The head of the surgical department, Arthur Bazikyan, slapped him on the left side of his face, causing him physical pain. According to the investigator's decision, Sasun G. was given a referral for a forensic examination.
