Deliberate Damage Inflicted on the Forested Areas of Syunik and Tavush by Azerbaijani Armed Forces: MoE
The Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia has reported that during the Second Artsakh War, deliberate damage was inflicted by Azerbaijani armed forces to the forested areas of Syunik and Tavush regions.
According to a Facebook post from the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center, in Syunik province, a total of 55.91 hectares were burned, of which 18.01 hectares were within the "Shikahogh" State Reserve and 37.9 hectares in adjacent areas. In Tavush province, a total of 481 hectares were burned, with 380 hectares located in the area of the "Ardzvaberd Forest Enterprise" branch of the Hayantar SNCO.
