The police officer who accompanied Haik Konjoryan's brother, Avet Konjoryan, has been dismissed from his position. This was reported by "Pastinfo." The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not clarified whether the dismissal was a result of an internal investigation.

As of now, the Investigative Committee has also not specified the status of the police officer, including whether any criminal charges are being pursued against Konjoryan.

Recall that on the night of July 24-25, Avet Konjoryan was brutally assaulted near the entrance of his home. In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated by the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee under the characteristics of physical violence by a group of individuals and hooliganism.

Five individuals have been indicted in relation to the assault on Avet Konjoryan, including Nairi Hakobyan, a member of the Abovyan community council from the ruling party. They are accused under Article 195, Part 2, Point 5 of the Criminal Code (physical violence committed by a group of individuals).

From a video circulating online, it is evident that Avet Konjoryan was seen driving around near Nairi Hakobyan’s house with a patrol officer, hurling insults. Several reports have been filed regarding this incident, demanding an evaluation not only of Avet Konjoryan's actions but also of the police officer's conduct. Currently, a criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Committee on hooliganism grounds.
