Lavrov and Cavusoglu to Hold Talks Today in Sochi
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu today in Sochi, according to TASS.
The heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries will participate in the 8th meeting of the Joint Group on Strategic Planning. They are expected to discuss pressing issues of bilateral cooperation and regional challenges.
It is anticipated that Lavrov and Çavuşoğlu will pay special attention to the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh, particularly the implementation of the trilateral statement, the provision of humanitarian assistance, and practical matters regarding the operation of the joint ceasefire monitoring center. As a result, an advisory plan for 2021-22 will be signed.
