Hovik Aghazaryan: Let's Assume Naira Zohrabyan is Currently Ill
The National Assembly is discussing a bill proposed by the 'My Step' faction, which suggests removing Naira Zohrabyan from her position as the head of the NA Human Rights Committee.
The Bright Armenia faction, as announced yesterday, is not participating in the session.
In his speech, My Step MP Hovik Aghazaryan stated that he would vote in favor of the bill, arguing that Zohrabyan's statements are incompatible with her position. He added, 'But I am concerned about another matter. Let's assume she might be ill at this moment. Perhaps we should check that circumstance to avoid any future speculation.'
Aghazaryan urged the Assembly leadership to provide clarifications, while the NA president stated that Ms. Zohrabyan had been duly informed.
