Russia has played a crucial role in stopping the bloodshed in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation, during an interview with Vladimir Solovyov on the program 'Moscow, Kremlin, Putin'.
“The maintenance of friendly relations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Baku and Yerevan has contributed to the signing of peace agreements surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. The preservation of good and constructive relations based on mutual respect with Baku and Yerevan has allowed Putin to act as a mediator in this resolution process,” Peskov said.
