On December 26, a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, Hakob Vardanyan, held a series of meetings in Tehran. This information was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Iran.
During the visit, Deputy Minister Vardanyan was received by Iran's Minister of Oil Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, following work discussions with Deputy Minister Amir Hosein Zamaniyan.
During the meetings, the issue of amending agreements related to the gas/electricity exchange program was discussed. The parties reached an agreement on extending the project's timeline and increasing the volumes of gas and electricity, resulting in the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline operating at full capacity.
In a meeting at the Iranian Ministry of Energy, Deputy Ministers Hakob Vardanyan and Homayoun Haeri discussed organizational issues related to the completion phase of the third high-voltage power line.
