Major Car Accident in Armavir Region: BMW and VAZ 221015 Collide, Four Injured
The Road Police's 2nd Officer Battalion's 1st Company Senior Investigator Garik Hovhannisyan is preparing materials concerning a major car accident that occurred on December 23 in the Armavir region. At approximately 16:40, on the 37th kilometer of the Yerevan-Armavir highway, a collision occurred between a VAZ 221015 vehicle driven by 34-year-old Arayik Hakobyan, a resident of Mrgashat village, and a BMW vehicle driven by 28-year-old Yeghiazary Melikyan, a resident of Metsamor City.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, A. Hakobyan and his passengers, 66-year-old Karine Vasilyan from Mrgashat village and 30-year-old Zhirayr Melikyan from Koghbavan village, were transported to the 'Metsamor' medical center with bodily injuries.
Several hours after the accident, the Armavir medical center informed the Armavir police department that another passenger of A. Hakobyan, 68-year-old Samvel Hakobyan from Mrgashat village, had been transferred to the 'Armavir' medical center due to injuries sustained in the collision.
