Georgians Can Now Apply for Movement Permit in Armenian During Curfew

According to the office of the State Minister for Civil Equality of Georgia, citizens of Georgia who do not speak Georgian can now apply for a movement permit during the curfew period (21:00-05:00) in their native language if it is absolutely necessary, reports Aliq Media.

“In light of the pandemic situation and decisions made by the government's coordinating council, the State Minister's office has decided to employ bilingual operators to handle the operations of the government hotline 1441. The office has ensured special training and placement of several young individuals to work at hotline 1441, who will provide consultation and relevant services in Armenian and Azerbaijani,” the report states.
