Traffic Accident on the Gavar-Martuni Highway: 22-Year-Old Driver Dies on the Spot

On November 23, at 15:35, a "Lada Priora" vehicle (driven by Narek Y., born in 1998) veered off the road (about 3 meters) and collided with a tree on the Gavar-Martuni highway at the 2nd km mark, resulting in the driver's immediate death.

A firefighting and rescue team arrived at the scene from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescuers retrieved the passenger Gegham I. (born in 2006) and Narek Y.'s body from the vehicle. The injured individual was transported by local forces to the Martuni City Hospital, where doctors assessed his condition as critically stable.

Rescuers deactivated the vehicle and closed the gas tank valve.
