«When signing that infamous document, I realized that the probability of my personal death was extremely high, not only in a political sense but also physically,» stated the Prime Minister of Armenia during a recent address.

He reiterated that the lives of soldiers who had selflessly served the homeland were under threat. «Moreover, those soldiers had no opportunity to influence the situation that was being created in the rear. There were no longer combat-ready forces in the rear to realistically affect the situation. Thus, it was the time for the commander to risk his own life for the sake of those soldiers, both physically and politically. It was the time of the homeland to make sacrifices for those soldiers without sparing anything, and I signed that document with this understanding,» Nikol Pashinyan announced.
