House Speaker Announces Biden's Election as President
U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden has been granted the electoral mandate and will soon become the elected leader of the state. This was announced by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during a press conference with reporters.
“Soon, Joe Biden will transition from Vice President to elected President. This is a happy day for our country,” Pelosi stated.
CNN, citing its sources, also reports that U.S. President Donald Trump has told aides that he does not intend to accept defeat in the elections. Moreover, the network asserts that officials are afraid to tell Trump that he might lose the election and are waiting for someone else, such as his daughter Ivanka or son-in-law Jared Kushner, to do so.
