What Assistance Will Russia Provide to Armenia? Zakharova on Pashinyan's Letter to Putin
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has commented on the letter from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the Russian President. This was reported by Vestnik.
As Zakharova stated in an interview with "Russia 24," the fundamental position of the Russian side is that Moscow will fulfill its obligations to its ally Yerevan if there is a military threat to the territory of Armenia itself, as noted in the official response from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Regarding specific formats of assistance, Zakharova mentioned that this will be discussed further.
