David Tonoyan Receives the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in Armenia, Jonathan Lacôte
On October 30, the Minister of Defense of Armenia, David Tonoyan, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in Armenia, Jonathan Lacôte.
During the meeting, the situation in the zone of military operations was discussed. The Minister of Defense presented facts regarding the involvement of foreign military personnel and mercenaries, as well as the consequences of targeting civilian settlements by the adversary. Tonoyan emphasized that the Armenian forces have sufficient capabilities to confidently fulfill their assigned tasks, and maintaining a ceasefire is only possible through the implementation of international verification measures.
Ambassador Lacôte, in turn, noted the necessity of adhering to the agreements reached regarding the ceasefire and the importance of efforts to resolve the issue through negotiations.
