Azerbaijan and Turkey's Armed Forces Had Very Rosy Perceptions of Themselves: Factor
“If Aliyev had known that in the 32nd day of the war he would not be able to capture Artsakh, Meghri, and a part of Armenia, as was likely stated in their operational plans, he would not have started the war,” said Defense Ministry representative Artur Hovhannisyan in an interview with Factor.am.
He noted that Azerbaijan and Turkey's armed forces undoubtedly had very rosy perceptions of themselves and viewed the Armenian side through a lens of disdain.
“Utilizing the entire potential of that enormous army—through naval infantry, terrorists, and special forces from Turkey, among others—they had completely different plans,” Hovhannisyan stated.
