Armenian Forces Continue to Confidently Fulfill Their Tasks: David Tonoyan Receives US Ambassador
On October 30, Armenian Minister of Defense David Tonoyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the USA to Armenia, Lynn Tracy. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
The US ambassador expressed concern regarding violations of the ceasefire agreements and expressed hope that the diplomatic efforts being made will yield results.
At the ambassador's request, the Armenian Minister of Defense presented the course of military operations and the situation at the front line, particularly emphasizing the involvement of foreign soldiers and mercenaries in the operations.
The Minister of Defense highlighted that, in the absence of a ceasefire, Armenian forces continue to confidently fulfill their tasks. David Tonoyan emphasized that the implementation of the aforementioned ceasefire is only possible with the application of verification measures to ensure its maintenance on the ground.
