UN on Ongoing Military Operations in Artsakh
The ongoing military operations in Artsakh are unacceptable and must be halted immediately. This was stated by Stéphane Dujarric, the official representative of the UN Secretary-General, during a press briefing, according to РИА Новости.
He emphasized that the UN condemns the targeting of civilian areas. “Such attacks cannot be justified. Once again, we reiterate the Secretary-General's call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, which has been agreed upon, and for all parties to fully fulfill their obligations regarding the protection of civilians and infrastructure,” Dujarric added.
“The ongoing military operations are unacceptable and must be stopped immediately,” the UN representative stressed.
It should be recalled that on September 27, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack in Artsakh, targeting even the civilian population.
