Russian, French, and US Foreign Ministers to Issue Statement on Nagorno-Karabakh Issue
The foreign ministers of the Russian Federation, France, and the United States are preparing a joint new statement regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with representatives of the European Business Association in Russia.
“The three co-chairs (of the OSCE Minsk Group) representing the presidents of Russia, France, and the United States have issued a strong statement. We are now preparing a statement by the foreign ministers of the three countries,” he said.
The leaders of Russia, the United States, and France had previously called on the conflicting parties to cease hostilities, commit to starting negotiations without preconditions, condemned the escalation, and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and injured.
