263 New Coronavirus Cases and 5 Deaths Confirmed in Armenia

As of August 20, Armenia has confirmed 263 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 42,319. The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Republic of Armenia reports that three citizens died from the virus in one day, increasing the death toll to 836.

Additionally, there were two cases of patients infected with coronavirus who died from other health issues on the same day. As of August 20, the total number of deaths due to these incidents has reached 251.

In total, five people died in one day, bringing the overall death toll to 1,087. The number of recoveries on that day was 250, with 35,476 individuals having recovered in total. Currently, there are 5,756 individuals undergoing treatment, a decrease of eight from the previous day.

A total of 1,993 tests were conducted in one day, and to date, 190,560 tests have been performed in Armenia.
