The U.S. Believes Russia Should 'Stay Away' from Belarus Situation

He emphasized that Russia should 'stay away' from the situation in Belarus and respect the country’s sovereignty. The official added that the U.S. is closely monitoring the developments in Belarus.
'Numerous peaceful protesters are clearly indicating that the government can no longer overlook calls for democracy,' the official noted.
