Protests are taking place in various cities across Belarus. Supporters of the opposition are voicing their disbelief over preliminary exit poll results, which indicate that Alexander Lukashenko has garnered over 81 percent of the votes.

In Minsk, security forces have deployed flashbang grenades against demonstrators. According to reports by Sputnik Belarus, thousands of people have gathered in the city center. There have been casualties as clashes between special forces and protesters ensue.
