Swimming Pools Allowed to Operate
Swimming pools have been allowed to operate. New regulations have been established for safety maintenance in gyms. This was reported by the Armenian Unified Information Center.
With the amendment to the decision No. 63 of the Prime Minister on May 3, it has been determined by decision No. 230 that:
- There should be containers with alcohol-based disinfectants available next to each gym equipment in a visible place.
- Benches around the pool must be installed at least one and a half meters apart.
After each visitor, the locker room, changing room lockers, and benches must be disinfected with 70-90% alcohol or chlorine-based disinfectants, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia's order No. 977-A, dated March 16, 2020, with records kept in the registry according to Form 2 of Annex 19 of this decision.
According to the requirement of clause 24 of order No. 13-N of the Ministry of Health dated July 16, 2010, the disinfectants used must have a methodological guideline approved by the Minister of Health.
In gyms, it is necessary to avoid crowding. To this end, a maximum of one person is allowed for every 8 square meters. Gym equipment must be placed at least 2 meters apart from each other.
