Proposed Lift of Gathering Restrictions by Prosperous Armenia Fails with 60 Votes Against
At the end of a special session of the National Assembly, a proposal presented by the Prosperous Armenia faction to lift restrictions and prohibitions on gatherings or public events was put to a vote. Edmond Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia faction, announced that they supported the proposal from the Prosperous Armenia faction.
Lilit Makunts, the leader of the My Step faction, stated that they would vote against the proposal. The proposal was rejected with 21 votes in favor and 60 votes against.
