Zhamanak: Idle Slaughterhouses. What Their Owners Demand

Zhamanak newspaper reports: “Slaughterhouse owners are preparing to appeal to the government in the coming days, demanding that the government implement stricter measures to ban the sale of non-slaughterhouse meat. Slaughterhouse owners say that believing in Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, they invested in building slaughterhouses, yet now they are left idle, suffering serious financial losses because slaughtering is being conducted wherever anyone wants, as before. The law mandating slaughterhouse slaughter has been in effect since July 1.”
